Editorial team and method

Jonas Vandenberghe has worked the Belgian gambling beat since 2021 and verifies every claim with a preference for payouts and KYC. Active from Gent.

Our income comes from affiliate commissions; the verdict stays the same, commission or not. A missing licence is never left unsaid.

How we test. testing starts with a real signup, deposit via Bancontact, ask for the money back and measure how long it takes. The licence check happens at the source, not at the operator and dig through the general terms. Unverified claims are left out.

Limits, age and EPIS

Player protection in Belgium is arranged more strictly than most of its neighbours with concrete consequences for your account. Each site automatically applies a €200 weekly ceiling. Adjusting downwards works right away, adjusting upwards follows a check and a term.

Through EPIS the Gaming Commission runs centralised exclusion: whoever registers is barred everywhere immediately, online as well as offline. The register is not public. The bar has stood at 21 since 1 September 2024, lottery aside; for the National Lottery 18 remained the rule. It applies online and on-site.
